Michael, my family and I had a crazy weekend! I went to work on Halloween night and by that morning, I thought I was getting sick. My stomach was hurting really bad that night after I ate, and then by 5am my side was hurting. I got home and was trying to tough it out, but I just couldn't!
So by 2pm I was going to Care Now! Michael stayed home (because his boys were here for the weekend), so Mom took me! I got there and shortly after that they took my blood and noticed that my white blood cell count was really high. Off we went to go back home so Michael could take me to the ER. And so mom could get Savannah packed off to my sister's house!
We got there about 4pm and it didn't take long for them to get me checked in! Thank the Lord! And soon after that they got me an IV started, which of course was great because then I could have some morphine for the pain. Then we waited for the CT scan and then after they knew it was my appendix. So... off to surgery I went at 11:30pm!
All is great now! I was released on Monday to go home, just really sore and slow... although it is getting better day by day! We are so thankful that I got to the hospital in time! The
dr said it would have burst on Sunday! Also, it is so nice to have family close by to help in the time of crisis! Michael and I are so blessed with a loving family!
This week has been exciting! Michael and I had our 2nd wedding anniversary yesterday! To celebrate (Mom and Dad kept Savannah) and we went out to eat at Texas de Brazil! It was tasty as ever! Also, Savannah got to eat cereal for the first time! Now... I know she isn't quite 4 months old, but since she has had cereal in her bottles for a long time now, I thought I would try it out! She did pretty good and ate a lot of it. Although, she was more interested in her hands! We all think she is teething now. She is drooling a lot, and is constantly chewing on her hands! Maybe a tooth will appear soon! Here are are few pictures! I also put a few of her Halloween costume!
